So many lessons...

in such a short time God has taught me so many lessons. The most valuable....NOTHING can be accomplished without Him.

God broke me completely. I had a problem and He couldn't fix it until I was totally broken. Thank God for that! I had to learn that nothing is within my control. To think that I can save myself from sin, the flesh, this world...is absurd. Through my hardship, I thought that my sin was greater than myself and God. I thought that I was so far gone there was no way that I could return. Boy was I wrong. God showed me firsthand that He can pick me up, brush me off and make me whole. All I had to do was understand it was beyond me and up to God.

I am so grateful that He is faithful to me when I am NOT faithful to Him. I am thankful for His chastising me because that means I am His child. I am thankful and grateful that I can now sincerely come to the Lord with a broken spirit.
